Torres, Edward B. of LaGrange Park and Land-O-Lakes, WI, WWII Army Veteran, 36th Division. Recipient of Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Beloved husband of the late Mary, (nee Gaw), loving father of Judy (James) Hall, Kathy (Dan) Dubach, Tom (Pat) Torres and Carole (Mike) Wiet, grandfather of Michael, Andrew and David Dubach, Heather (Ross) Anderson and Skyler and Landon Wiet. Visitation Wednesday, 3 p.m. until time of funeral service, 7 p.m., at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301-75th Street, Downers Grove. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hinsdale Animal Shelter or any Veteran's organization appreciated. Funeral info: 630-964-6500.
