Edward Rolfsen Obituary

Rolfsen, Edward L. Age 83, died Sunday, September 11, 2016 in Holland, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue in 2009. Ed was an active member of St. Gregory the Great for many years. He loved singing in the choir for over 10 years and his greatest joy was traveling around the world with them and performing at the Vatican. Edward was a proud alumni of Loyola University and a faithful Cubs fan. Ed is survived by his daughters, Paula Rolfsen and Julie Kimber; granddaughters, Alisa and Sarah Kimber all of Holland, MI; siblings, Carl and Pat Rolfsen of Ft. Wayne, IN and Marilyn Moore of Holland; nieces and nephews, Carl and Debbie Rolfsen, Tim and Rhonda Rolfsen, Peter and Kathleen Rolfsen, Mary Rolfsen, Cathy and Steve Colbert, and Jeff and Jennie Rolfsen; and many great nieces, nephews and dear friends. Visitation will be Friday, September 16 from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 N Western Ave. Chicago, IL. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 17 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great, 5545 N Paulina St., Chicago, IL 60640. Burial at Rosehill Cemetery.
