Mikan, Edward T. age 88, late of Calumet City and formerly of South Chicago, went to be with Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus on Wednesday, September 28, 2005. Beloved husband of Beatrice for 63 years, loving father of Edward F. Mikan, Kathy (Al) Everitt, Tom (Rebecca) Mikan and Patrice (Jon) Knoll, devoted grandfather of Bennett, Sherry, Wendy and Glen Everitt, Matthew, Raymond and Ryan Knoll, Sarah and Joseph Mikan, great-grandfather of Devin Everitt, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, ten brothers and sisters. Retired employee of Wisconsin Steel with 38 years of service. Visitation Sunday, 1 to 9 p.m. Funeral services Monday, October 3, 2005, at 8:45 a.m., from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago, to Sacred Heart Church.
