I grew up at 275 Harding in Waukegan and Mr. & Mrs. Menke ( Ed and Gert ) and their children lived diagnonally across the street.Ed was a very capable fellow and a fine father. I believe he was promoted at his job with Public Service and moved to Dalton or near Harvey. We really missed having them in the neighborhood.Of course, I knew Mickey quite well and even saw him from time to time on Northwestern's campus. I should like to express my sympathy to the entire family.

May the family rely upon the greatest source of comfort. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comforted by God.” - 2 Corinthians 1:3,4.
