Klein, Edward W. age 83, Naval Veteran WWII, formerly of the Beverly and Evergreen Park areas. Retired employee of U.S. Steel South Works. Beloved husband of 49 years of Claire (nee Houts), loving father of Nancy (Andrew) Lewis, Kimberly (Gary) Pocic, Edward W. Jr. and Janet (Jerry) Schultz, devoted grandfather of Virginia, Maxwel, Jessica, Katheryn, Hailey, Graham, Carley and Ethan. Memorial Service Thursday, 2 p.m. at Bethany Union Church, 1750 W. 103rd St., Chicago, with a reception to follow at the church. Interment private Mt. Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army Development Dept., 5040 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL., 60630, appreciated. Arrangements by Williams-Kampp Funeral Home.
