Dear John, Sarah, and Edward, I just saw your father's death notice, I am about a week late in reading newspaper. You may not remember me, but I was a childhood friend of your mother and got to know your father when your mother and I connected after years, when she worked for the County. We both lived on Mason growing up.
My deepest sympathies on the death of your father. I have often wondered how he was doing after losing Mary Ellen and your brother Patrick. Please know that you are all in my prayers. I know he and your mom are having a good time together.

I just heard about your dad and I am so sorry for your loss. He was a super great guy and I will really miss him but I know he is up in heaven having a great time with Bernie and all the old OLP and Clyde Tech gang.
