WWII, beloved husband of Mary "Jan" (nee Tallon), dear father of Kathleen (Richard) Kopec and Gail (Mike) Golden, loving grandfather of Jennifer, Rebecca, Timothy, David, Diana, Daniel, Megan and Melanie, and great-grandfather of Karen, Brett, Timothy and Jared, dear brother of Maryanne (Richard) Vorndran, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday, 9:15 a.m., from Beverly Ridge Funeral Home, 10415 S. Kedzie, to St. John Fisher Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. 773-779-4411.

I'm really going to miss you "Boots"! You are my world, my everything, and I love you with all my heart! You taught me to be the person I am today....Strong and caring!!Gram is in good hands!! I'll make sure she gets whatever she needs. You'll be missed bunches, but we'll always have stories to tell and lots of pictures to look at to keep our faces smiling!!
