Edward dear son of the late John and Antoinette Borkowski, dear brother of Antoinette Cisek, Vicki Synoga, Frank Borkowski, Lillian Niedzwiedz and the late Jean Lewandowski and John Borkowski. Visitation Thursday, from 3 to 7 p.m., at St. Joseph Church, 7240 W. 57th St., Summit, IL. Then Wake service Friday, 7 p.m., at the Divine Word Residence Chapel, 1901 Waukegan Rd., Techny, IL. Funeral Mass Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at the Divine Word Residence Chapel. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Techny. Please pass on my regrets and prayers. Unfortunately I am on government travel and unable to get a flight out of SC in time to make the funeral. I will have a mass in his honor done at Holy Trinity Church in Norfolk. Light a cigar in his honor, and know he will be in my thoughts and prayers this Saturday and always.

My deepest sympathy to Toni, Vicky, Lil and Frank on the loss of your beloved brother. We were fortunate to live in Chicago for 5 years and to enjoy his company and wonderful sense of humor. He certainly will be welcomed in heaven by his parents, who set a great example for the entire family. You will all be in my daily prayers.
