Bochenek, Edward B. age 80, U.S. Navy WWII Vet., beloved husband of Lillian (nee Kratochvil), loving father of Ava (Tom) Dudik, Elise (Dan) Rogers and Julie (Mike) Dion, dearest grandfather of Chris, Nicole and Tim Dudik, Marc and Julie Rogers, Marisa, Cameron and Rachel Dion, great-grandfather of Mya Dudik, devoted brother of Rose (Sam) Geraci, also nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday, 9:15 a.m., from Modell Funeral Home, 5725 S. Pulaski Rd., To St. Denis Church, Mass 10 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Life member of Midway Chapter #43 D.A.V. Retired member of Teamsters Local #726. Former Precinct Captain of the 22nd Ward. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Denis Church, 8301 S. St. Louis, Chicago, IL 60652, appreciated. Mrs. Bochenek and Family,
My deepest sympathies on the loss of Edward. I always enjoyed talking to him before 4:00 mass began. We used to compare gasoline prices and most of the time he paid less that I did! He was a wonderful man and he will be deeply missed. Take comfort in the many memories you have of him.
