Dear Ed and family
Sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Ed for about 10 years, he will be missed. I recently lost a loved one and so I feel your pain.

Dear Tony, Pat and the entire Barrett Family. Received a call from Bob McDonald in Arizona this morning telling me of the passing of your dear brother, Ed. My deepest sympathy to each and every one of you. Ed and the entire family will be in my prayers. It has been many years since I saw Ed but he was always very nice to me at the "Barrett Building". I'm sure he will be missed very much.

I and my family extend our deepest sympathy. I had the privilege of working with Ed for over ten years at the Office of Banks and Real Estate. Ed brought great devotion and knowledge to his work and was highly respected. Many would say Ed was an excellent examiner, but more importantly he was an even better person and friend. To Ed's Family,

Please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss. I was an Assistant Commissioner at the Office of Banks and Real Estate and it was my honor to work with Ed for several years prior to his retirement. Ed was a tremendous asset to the Office and was well respected by our staff and the institutions he examined. From our many conversations it was clear that he loved his family. Please know that the loss you feel is shared by many others.

Father Barrett and the entire Barrett family, Marty and I are saddened by the death of your brother, Edward. Marty recently went through the same experience of losing a younger brother the day after Christmas. It is never easy and we offer our sincerest condolences.

Very sorry to read about Ed.

Mr. Barrett was a fellow State bank examiner for many years; he was a credit to our Agency and to the profession.

My deepest condolences to the family. I worked with Ed for 16 years, and he was a dear friend. He loved his family tremendously especially his nephews who he spoke about every day we worked together. I will miss him dearly.
