Kaplan, Edith age 72, beloved wife of Herman Kaplan, loving mother of Ellen Kaplan (Irving Silverstein) and the late Ben and Howard Kaplan, cherished grandmother of Kevin and Mitchell Silverstein, dear sister of Ann Faye Ruben, respected and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, adored sister-in-law of Seymour and Rose, Joseph and Mildred, Jack and the late Scottie, Eli and Dollie, Sophie and Irving, Esther and the late Joe and the late Sylvia and Manny. Services Friday, 11 a.m., at Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette (one block north of Old Orchard). Interment Shalom Memorial Park, Arlington Heights.
