WEST COLUMBIA%%Graveside services for Edith S. Dunnicliff, 83, of West Columbia, will be held at 12 Noon Tuesday at Elmwood Cemetery and Gardens, officiated by Rev. Steve Allen. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:30am Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1303 Sunset Blvd., West Columbia, SC 29169.

Mrs. Dunnicliff, widow of Duncan Dunnicliff, died Saturday, May 15, 2004. Born in Williamston, she was the daughter of the late William Kelse, Sr. and Mary Thelma Cone Strickland. Formerly of Los Banos, CA, she had been a local area resident since 1989. Mrs. Dunnicliff was a member of Northside Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, West Columbia Chapter.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda Dunnicliff Moneghan and her husband, John of Elgin; sisters, Miriam K. Roberts of Columbia, Mary Holley of Lexington, Margaret Moore of Cayce; brothers, Robert K. Strickland of Chapin, Frank B. Strickland of Aiken, Daniel R. Strickland of Leesville; seven grandchildren, including Joshua and Kristin Moneghan. Mrs. Dunnicliff was preceded in death by two brothers, W. Kelse Strickland, Jr. and Otis C. Strickland.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Chaudhry Mushtaq, Portsbridge Hospice, and Tri-County Hospice personnel for their care and support during Mrs. Dunnicliff’s illness.
