Dear Carolyn, Deborah, Patti, Cindy and families,
Just learned of Mr. Mecimore's passing, I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Edgar, and all of you, from growing up on Lochlain Drive in Charlotte. Your husband/father was special. There were long baseball games in your backyard on hot summer evenings that lasted until dark, with Edgar yelling encouraging words to us all. Those huge air bags that he brought home we used as giant see saws and trampolines were a huge hit among all of us kids. Trips to the Riverview Inn were such a treat for me when you invited me along. A camping trip to the beach in your camper was made all the more fun because Edgar treated Cindy and I so special. I will always remember him for his kindness, and hope your happy memories of him will help you through this difficult time. May God Bless You All.
Love always,
Annie Brislin Spoo
