We send our condolences and keep you all in our prayers. We have fond memories of Ed, coming around the neighborhood as Santa Claus. We were privileged to have Ed as a neighbor. With love...

I was so sad to hear of Mr. Chuplis' passing. I will never forget how warm and inviting he was - the ultimate Dad! I will remember the enchanted moments of my childhood that include sliding down the big backyard hill; cold winter days and hot chocolate and who could forget "piggy's pizza." The picture in the paper captured Mr Chuplis' spirit - he was always smiling; always happy and just a good guy. We were sad to see you move away and now sad to see that Mr. Chuplis has passed on. I hope you find comfort in the warm memories.

To Lesley and her family - we were deeply saddened to learn of the death of your grandfather Edgar. We were privileged to meet him at your wedding in October. He was such a jolly man and made us feel so welcome. With our deepest sympathy.

Dear Lillian and Family:
I was sad to read of Ed's passing. My condolences to you, the girls and their families. Doug and I missed you both when you moved. The neighborhood wasn't the same without waving to Ed; and what about those snow days? I know you are in the care of a loving family as I am, for sadly to say Doug passed away on 11/2/05. I'm sure Doug and Ed are on heaven's driveway discussing "stuff".
My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

So sorry to hear the news about Edgar. I have fond memories of the card games around the kitchen table at my sister in law's (his niece's) Perry Ave., Auburn house some 30-35 years ago. Edgar was a lot of fun and always made things interesting. Godspeed, Edgar.
