Ed Nelson Jr., 70, a native of Galloway, Arkansas, who was employed by Americo Home Foods for 37 years, passed away in Sacramento, California, on Friday, February 25, 2000. Friends are invited to call for visitation on Wednesday, March 1, 2000, 2-7 p.m., at Thompson’s Rose Chapel, 3601 Fifth Avenue, Sacramento. Friends also are invited to attend his Homegoing Celebration on Thursday, March 2, 10 a.m., at Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 3996 14th Avenue, Sacramento. Interment is scheduled for Friday, March 3, 9 a.m., at Rolling Hills Memorial Park, Richmond, California.
