Earl Franklin Obituary
Franklin, Earl "Nick" G. age 89, Veteran of WWII, US Navy, beloved husband of Margaret "Babe" (nee Berkery), loving father of the late Michael "Benjy" (Marianne, CPD 009), Kathy (John) Arvetis, Patrick, Thomas (Terri), Peggy (Daniel) Stecky, Marie (Daniel, CFD) McAuliffe and Danny, proud grandfather of 11, great-grandfather of 10, fond brother-in-law to Mary Berkery, dear uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude League, 205 W. Monroe,7th FL., Chicago, IL 60606. Interment services will be held on Wednesday, where family and friends will gather at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL at 1:45 p.m. Services set for 2:00 p.m. Visitation Tuesday at Zarzycki Manor Chapels, 5088 S. Archer (at Keeler), from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. 773-582-6294.

To the whole Franklin Family-My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this time. I have great memories of Mr. Franklin, whether it be visiting his house with Sarah or seeing him at McAuliffe's. He was a great man, and will surely be missed.
