Dear Sylvia and Diane -- we were so saddened to hear of Earl's death; and now, five months later, of our dear friend Sam Karp's death. Both Earl and Sam were loving, wise, and generous friends and colleagues. Our hearts go out to you.

I was honored to work with Earl and learned alot about 'doing right' and presenting a point of view without being too forceful. I also learned how to work within a system for postive change. With my deepest thougths are with his family that he spoke of often and my admiration for his frienship.
