Coats, Dywane Marine Corp. Veteran, beloved son of Billie (Carolyn) Coats Sr., and Lovie Coats (nee Walker) (Robert Blackmon), loving brother of June (Donald) Coats-Boyd, Billie Coats III and the late Billie "Cookie" Coats Jr., dearest nephew of Dolores Walker-Jones and Carolyn (Melvin) Lenton, dear uncle of Dominique Lovie Boyd and Jade Crista Boyd, fond friend of Michael Thiry. Family and friends to gather for a memorial visitation and Mass on Saturday, October 15th, at St. John Berchmans Church, 2517 W. Logan Blvd., Chicago, IL. Memorial visitation to begin Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation. Arrangements by: Casey-Laskowski & Sons Funeral Home, 773-777-6300.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
