Drucilla Mead Obituary
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Henry L. Jackson and Alma K. Foust and sister-in-law, Beverly Jackson. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Archie L. Mead Sr.; son, Archie Mead Jr. of Delta; daughters, Tricia Pennington of Delta and Jamie (Troy) Varble of Napoleon; brothers, Dewey Jackson of Swanton and Cecil (Carol) Jackson of Monclova; sister, Patricia (Ray) Bischoff of Toledo; thirteen grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. on Monday, October, 31, 2005, at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, Delta; where a memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Reverend Tom Bates officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, P.O. Box 634445, Cincinnati, Ohio 45263-4445 in her memory.

Archie, we were very saddened to hear of Lynn's passing. She was such a sweet lady and always treated us with respect and kindness. She was also well liked by the fan club. We will never forget how generous she was when it came to booking us at the Cousino Club. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I was saddened to hear of Lynn's recent passing. I know she has been through a lot over the years and her death wasn't expected but she will no longer be suffering. She will be at peace now watching over everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. I'm always here if you need anything at all, especially you Jamie (we've spent way too many years apart - I love you sis).
