Dreama Ridenour Obituary

Dreama J. 'Dee' Ridenour, 59, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 17, 2006, at York Hospital. She was the wife of Floyd E. Ridenour, Sr. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary with the Rev. William P. Walker officiating. Interment will be in New Freedom Cemetery, New Freedom. Mrs. Ridenour was born August 3, 1946, in Gladstone, Va. In addition to her husband, Floyd, she is survived by a son, Floyd E. Ridenour, Jr. and his wife, Lisa; a grandson, Michael R. Ahlfeldt; a granddaughter, Nicole D. Ahlfeldt; a brother, Harvey M. Elliott, Jr. and Marlene Gillespie; a cousin, Betty Dianne Benjamin and her husband, Charles; and her nieces, Diane Swiger and her husband, Dana, and Elizabeth, Victoria, and Catherine Swiger.

Mark & I can not even express how sorry we are that Dee has passed. She is and will always be a special part of our lives. Even when she wasn't feeling well she would ask about Mark and how he felt. If you need anything let us know.
