He was sweet kind brother to me as children, we were country raised chikdren, but my Brother always made sure I was safe, that I would have a piece of candy even if it meant giving me half of his, He bought me my first tricycle and my first bicycle, despite there only being 2yrs difference in our age. He loved his mother Marie fiercely and was broken by her early death, at the age of 36. He was quirky, and crazy funny. I'm so thankful GOD saw fit to make him my protector, my friend and most of all,MY Brother. Peace is yours now. Love you Always, Peggy Jo

I will never drive by his spot without thinking of Mr. Fletcher - the beep, wave, Hey Mr. Fletch!, the wave and smile back - making my day.
He exuded humor, grit, a tell-it-like-it-is demeanor, and southern charm all wrapped up into one string bean of a man. He touched loads of fellow Ridge Kids with it all, and we were blessed to have known him.
Rest peacefully, Mr. Fletcher, and much love to Monica, Doug, Susan, Shari, Robert and all of yours. ❤

Uncle Doug was a one-of-a-kind. I couldn't help but love him for his stories. He was his own man who loved to dance, listen to music, and talk. He always made me smile. His unique character is what endeared him to me and guarantees he will never be forgotten and will live on in my heart and memories. I will miss you Uncle Doug. Thank you for your kindness shown to Jim.❤
