Dorothy Stark Obituary

Dorothy E. Stark, formerly of West Pittston, passed away Friday in River Street Manor, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Pittston, Nov. 4, 1915, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Pursell Rader. She was a 1933 graduate of Pittston High School. She was a member of the Shoemaker Memorial United Methodist Church, West Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jason, in 1980; grandson Benjamin Stark; step-brother William Marth.
She is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Reiners, Harding; sons Clifford and his wife, Geraldine, of West Pittston, Ben and his wife, Ann Marie, White Haven; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston. Willard Rollins Lay Minister of the Shoemaker Memorial United Methodist Church, West Wyoming, will officiate. Interment will be in West Pittston Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Monday, from 11a.m. until services time at 1 p.m.
