Dorothy Rodovicz Obituary

Rodovicz, Dorothy (nee Schultz), 83, at peace December 29, 2009. Born January 5, 1926. Beloved wife of the late Edward, loving mother of Janet Rodovicz, dear sister of Elizabeth (the late Walter) Ciolkosz, Thomas (Ann) Schultz, Anna (Edward) Robertson and Rosemary (the late John) Kane, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, including Marie. Visitation Friday, January 1, 2010, 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home, corner of Routes 30 & 59, Plainfield. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 2, 10:00 AM at St Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Romeoville. Interment St Casimir Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, masses or contributions to Heartland Blood Centers would be greatly appreciated. For info 815-436-9221 or www.overman-jones.com

Dear Aunt Dorothy,
I’m sorry to see you go.
You will be missed but not forgotten.
I still have a pair of rabbit fur lined gloves you gave me for Christmas many years ago.
Every time I put my hand in my pocket and touch them I think about you.
The fur lining has been used to tickle the noses of many a child.
