Dorothy Lewis Obituary
Dorothy K. Lewis, went home to be with our Lord on August 22, 2008. She was born on July 22, 1917 in Morgantown, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine Germain; brothers, Joe and Emile Germain; and sisters, Emma Stewart and Lucy Carter. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Clyde, to whom she was married for 63 years. Her final days were spent at Summit's Trace in Canton, and her family is thankful for the love and care that was given by the staff. Their compassion and concern will always be remembered. Dorothy is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law Yvonne and Ron Goddard; son and daughter-in-law David and Carolyn Lewis; grandchildren, Tracie (Clint) Perry, Michelle (Jeremy) Board, Kathy (Tom) Toney, Joy (Daren) Harsh, Holly (Jeff) Keadle, Brad (Sarah) Lewis and Jacqueline (Michael) Bernstein; great grandchildren, Megan (Brandon) McWilliams, Garland Perry, Zane, Avery and Mitchell Keadle, Jordan and Jayden Lewis, Grant and Ali Toney and Joslyn Harsh; and great great grandchild, Presley McWilliams. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11am in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be Monday from 6-8pm in the funeral home. What a treasure Dorothy was to so many. She was a tremendous blessing to my life, family and her church family. She was very supportive to our ministry and played a great role in encouraging so many people with her uplifting spirit. Our prayers are extended to Clyde, Yvonne and the family during this season of separation.
