Dorothy Alonso Obituary

Dorothy Sinclair Alonso, 84, died June 28, 2003 in Azalealand Nursing Home. She was born January 3, 1919 in Savannah, the daughter of late Kirby C. Anglin, Sr. and Annie Sinclair Anglin. Mrs. Alonso was retired from Schulte United as a sales clerk and was a communicant of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril V. Alonso. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. Alonso, Sr. and Maureen Alonso of Savannah; grandson, Robert C. Alonso, Jr. of Savannah; granddaughter, Lisa Alonso Sanders of Brunswick and several nieces, and nephews. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2003 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel with a Rosary Service at 7:00p.m. Mass of Christian Burial: 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with the Reverend Patrick OBrien Celebrant.
