Aunt Gail, I thought this was going to get easier but that doesn't seem to be the case. I think of you every day; some days, it makes me smile and other days, I'm just sad. I feel that I have lost a kindred spirit. I love you and will miss you always but I know you are up there watching out for all of us.

Love,

Becki

My dearest Mom: I was hoping that time would help me find comfort from this sudden loss to our family but it hasn't happened yet. I still can't believe it, and I'm so upset and sorry that you had to go through yet another one of life's difficulties. You always told me that God never gives you more than you can handle, and as we have mused, he must have had a lot of faith in you! I hope I can demonstrate even half of the grace you have maintained through the difficult times, and the love, generosity, kindness, and strength that you have shown for everyone you touched in your life. I love you very much and think of you every day as does Tom, Nathan, Chelsea, Scotty, and little Griffin. He wanted to know if he could send you a letter with some questions to ask God! (If that works, I may have a few questions of my own) Remember the words I whispered in your ear that last day!

With all my love,

your daughter Connie

This is so unbelievably hard to write. I have been fortifying my days with the memories that our family has built through all of these years and grateful for every moment that we have spent together. I'm glad that you are up there on my side. I love you.

I miss you Mom. You were and will always be my best friend. I will miss and think of you everyday. You will always be my source of strength and courage as you have done my entire life. I will talk to you often because you always made time to listen and give encouragement. Not to mention your ability to make me laugh. You taught me that I can do anything and now I am going to prove that again. Thank you for a wonderful time. I will see you in the future and you are in my heart always.

Gail,

Although I did not know you well, I know of the love that you shared with Dad and Mom ( Ike and Bugs). I enjoyed the couple of summers you came here and visited some in the camp. You, Ardie and Rod are so special to Dad and Mom and also to me. Mom talked and laughed about things that you all did when I told her of your passing. Her voice filled with sadness, but with so much love. Her mind is not what it used to be, espically with things happening now, but sharp as a tack when she needs to recall the past and you, my dear, brought, to her, a smile, laughter and love.

God bless you and yours in this time of sorrow. Please be waiting for me, be ready to hold my hand to help me through when my time comes to join you.

Libbie

Gail, I already miss my big sister more than I thought was possible. I love you and don't expect this pain will ever go away, until we meet again someday on the far side banks of jordan. Your brother, Rodney
