Donna was one of the finest people I ever worked with and the most genuine. She will be missed by everyone whose life see has touched! Bubba Gump and the water taxi rides will never be forgotten. We Love You!!

Although I haven't seen Donna since high school, the entries in this guest book make it clear that she was the same loving, sweet, fun-loving classmate that we knew. Praying for peace, healing and many fond memories for those whose lives she touched and changed forever.

I will always remember how well you treated me. You will always live on in my heart and memories.

I was also student of Maria High School 72' and remember Donna well. Very sweet person. I wish her family peace.

What a heartbreaking loss for her family, friends and co-worker friends. We all have a hole that cannot be filled. Donna was and is loved by all whose lives she touched. Memories of her will live on forever and put a smile on the faces of those she has temporarily left behind. Although I won't be able to attend her services - to Kim and the entire Whitehead family - my thoughts and prayers for love and strength are being sent to all of you. May your special angel help you all through the days to come.

Donna was awesome. Always willing and happy to help her department staff and management with whatever they needed to get the job done. Always willing to take on new and different assignments and activities. Always watching out for the workers, and working behind the scenes with management to do what it took to get the workers what was best for them. She will be so missed. My thoughts and prayers for Donna, her family and her "extended family" at the County.

I was priviledged to know this sweet & beautiful lady. You will be missed by so many...miss seeing your smiling face when I visit Central Plant. Heaven is so much luckier now that you're there. XOXO

Donna was one of those few women who brightened the room as she entered...her smile and laughter was amazing and contagious. I still expect to see her come around the corner and ask if I found any new recipes. She was the genuine article. She was beautiful, smart, funny, loving, and she will be missed...thank you, Donna, for being part of our lives. I miss you...

Donna was a beautiful soul who loved and accepted everyone for who they were. I am honored to have known her and will miss her deeply. My love and deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Whitehead and Oswald family as well as everyone that she has touched. Rest In Peace Donna.

Donna, we were best childhood friends who lived 5 doors down from each other and spent a lot of time together in those days. We did all the silly things two girlfriends did growing up and made many memories in that time. We stood up to each others weddings, then time separated us. Years later, we met again on my trips to Vegas and talked over good times. It was fun knowing you and making all those memories together. Rest in peace my friend, and know I will always remember you. My condolences to the Whitehead family for their loss. I am grieving along with all of you, more than you know.

My heart was broken when I heard of Donna's battle and loss. I shared many wonderful memories with Donna when we lived on Fairfield. One of the special things we would do was have a big birthday party together. Her birthday was the 27th and mine was the 29th. I will always think of her with the brightest smile. She was the glue, a matriarch, a mentor, a confidante', a friend, a mom, a wife, a grandma, a teacher, a comforter, a dear heart...the precious soul whose heart was genuine, and big, and warm...she gave more than 100%, each day, each week, each year, to all...a beautiful smile that would warm anyone's heart...where do I start, when I say...everyone loved Donna...thank you, my friend,my mentor, for your friendship, your care, and the love you showed to many...you will be missed, but I know you're there with Him, and the angels, and Heaven is singing...

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Donna was an amazing friend, co-worker. Our prayers are with the family members.
