Donna Davis Obituary

Davis, Donna D. Age 77, of Dwight passed away July 6, 2017 at Joliet Area Community Hospice in Joliet. Donna was born March 11, 1940 in Chicago, daughter of Marshall and Elsie Meyer Hannon. She had a long career as a Tax Preparer until retiring. She had a keen eye for artwork and design aesthetics and took pleasure in decorating, flower gardening, and traveling throughout her lifetime. Living in Monroe, WI, LaGrange, IL, Carbondale, IL and settling in Dwight, IL. She held a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs. She is survived by her son, David J. Augustus (Maria Paras); daughter, Jennifer (Martin) Soellner; grandchildren, Grant M. Augustus and Jillian P. Kramer; sister, Jean M. Richine; brothers, Jerry Hannon and Thomas Hannon. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Marshall Hannon, Robert Hannon; sister, Joan Atchley; husband, John G. Davis; and her companion, Jerry Coleman.
