My sympathy to Don's family. I remember Don working in Barton Lab at the Experiment Station in Geneva. He was diligent and thorough. Had many great chats with Don and woe to those of dared ride the elevator to the 5th floor without cleaning field mud from our shoes! He would surely find out who left the tracks and let us know how it should be done. Don loved his horses. Rest in peace, Don.
