He was a big part of my older children's entertainment while they were growing up. He was always happy-go-lucky. Donald you will be missed, but you suffered long enough and are in a much better place now. Say "HI" to all those I love up there. Cousin Jeanne

I remember him when he came to Chicago, he was just a little tot.
We had many good family gatherings!

In my old age, he entertained me with many fun card games.
Love him, will miss him, but know he's in a happier place.

It is with the sad heart that i have to go back to a photo and remember someone whom I Loved very much . Uncle Donald was a very special person as i was growing up he took us kids places and loved us make no mistake about that he was always the comedian at all our family get together's he will be greatly missed ."LOVE YOU UNCLE DONALD " , may you rest in peace . My condolences to the Hubert family. Donald was a good friend to anyone he met. We spent a lot of time on the front steps of 2037 and I have fond memories of those days . Donald was a big part of those memories He will be remembered and missed.

Uncle D, My heart aches knowing that I won't have our yearly visists or our calls. I know one day we will reunite. I will always remember our dinners, visits, Cat musicals, baseball games, and horse track races. I love you Uncle D and you will always have a place close to my heart....

Uncle D, I am in sorrow but know I will reunite with you again. My heart aches teremdously. I will forever remember the Sox/Cubs games we went to, we were both Sox fans but will always have that memory of you yelling on the Sox side which we sat "hey everyone look at this Cub fan sitting on the wrong side" hahah. The memories of the Cat musicals you took me to, the race tracks, and just you visisting with me. You never forgot me and I will never forget you. You will always have a very close place in my heart. I knew Donald only briefly when we were teenagers but he made a lasting impression. I was in the hospital with what was then an unknown but possibly very serious condition. I was alone in the room, depressed and just staring out the window in that glum teenager sort of way. Then just like a mirage I saw Donald (probably one of the last persons I would expect to visit me) walking toward the entrance with a festive looking box tucked under his arm. He came in and presented me with a lovely box of chocolates which perked me up immediately and we had a such a fun time talking and eating those morsels one by one. I was so touched that he came at all and his sweetness and kindness on that afternoon etched that memory forever into my heart. I never got to say thank you, until now. Thank you, Donald and God speed.

Condolences to the Hubert Family. I have many fond memories of Donald on 18th Place, sitting on the stairs, going to Duffy's, etc. RIP, Donald!
