Donald Flynn Obituary

I'm not sure what to say. I know it's been a long time and I'm sorry for that. I am just getting over COVID and a stomach virus. I was down for about three weeks and with little to do, I began trying o catch up with friends I had lost contact with.
I had a hard time trying to find Donny, when we hung out he used the Larison name more than the Flynn, but it broke my heart to know that he passed and at such a young age.



I met Donny when he and his family moved to the Ponderosa trailer park. For the years that he lived there and many years following we were best friends and inseparable.
We lost track after he entered the Marines. We hooked up briefly after he returned. By that time he was living in Lexington with his mom I believe. Donny and I both loved wrestling and held matches in my back yard for several years, until we got a little too rough and I almost broke a kid´s neck.
I think the last time I saw him; I believe he was living at the Robin Road address, it's been so long.


Donny and I are roughly the same age, I was born in February of 1966 which is another reason we hit it off so well.
I am not sure you will get this but, I wanted his family to know that even after so long his loss is still touching people.
I still have family in the area and do travel that way and might look you up, if that would be okay with you? I would love to meet his son and share some how Donny was a huge part of who I am and how his friendship made my preteen and teenage years a blast.
