To The Donohue Family,
Dear Chris,
I first worked with Don in 1971. He treated me with the respect that only veteran officers received. I was very impressed with his vast knowledge and super intelligence. He was truly one of a kind. Chris, you called my late wife, Marie, in 1973, to invite us to your home on Green St. Being a North-Sider, Green St. was like a different country. Marie, I, our 9 yr. old son, Jeff, & our 4 month old daughter, Lisa, enjoyed your hospitality, along with Jim McNamara, as the other guest. In 1973, Don and his partner, Dave Marlowe, talked my partner and I into joining Loop Foot Patrol. We enjoyed many laughs, as Don & Dave were a great audience for my comedic nonsense. May God Bless, my buddy, Don, and all of the Donohue Family. With Love,
Edward Greb
