To The David Family,

So sorry to hear of Donny's passing, and sorry that we could not make it back to Chicago this week. The past few years have not been kind to the entire family; here's hoping for better times going forward. May your memories of the twins bring a smile to your heart, as it does for us.

Don, Marty and I were good friends back in the late 70's and early 80's. Hearing of Marty's passing was shocking enough, and now learning of Don's is horrible. I will always remember his great smile and how friendly he was to everyone. We all used to hang out at the Gold Coin on Howard and Cal in Chicago, and Don was the one guy I would look for when I got there. I enjoyed his company immensely. The three of us would talk about music, bowling and of course, girls. I certainly will miss my good friend Donny. Rest in peace, old friend. Rest in peace.

To the David Family,

I was sad to hear of Don’s passing. He and Marty were fixtures in high school. We spend a lot of time together then with great memories and great moments during that period of time. Too many memories to spell out here.

I had hoped that Don would have had enough strength to attend they 45th grammar school reunion so that we could see him one more time. We all talked about Don and Marty and what wonderful people they were.

Please accept the condolences of our family to yours as God has decided that he needed the return of his precious jewel we know as Donald David.

May his memory be for a blessing, and may he be granted eternal peace. May you be given the strength you need to help you through this difficult time.

To Donny's family:
Donny always had a smile on his face while we were growing up. He was kind to everyone. Both he and his brother Marty, were always contributors to our class. He will be greatly missed. My sympathies to his family. May his memory be a blessing to all of you.
