Dear Centenail Family,
I had the honor of knowing and spending time with Don. Don showed the way with his knowlege, dedication, sense of humor and continued selfless giving of his time and talents. He represented all that scouting is about. Don was always available to help out any scout or leader that needed help (or even looked like it). Don led by example and wouldn't let us settle for anything less then our best. He loved what he did and it showed. I may not have known Don as long or as well as most everyone else, but he left an impression on myself that will not be soon forgotten. I am truly thankful for the time that I spent with him. Don did what a good scout should do, he left this earth a better place than he found it.

Dear Centenail Family,
Mr. Centenail was a great person who was full of life and knowledge, and he managed to pass that on to all of us Scouts. He was always there for Troop 957, always there for the Scouts, always there for anyone in time of need. He will be greatly missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

I would like to offer my condolences to Don's family. Don and I were partners at Eng. 125's house, we did not see eye to eye on some things, but he could always be counted on when things got a little rough.
