Dona Sindo Obituary

Sindo, Dona Elisa"Rodriquez" age 72 of Chicago passed away on Friday, October 5, 2007. She is the mother of 13 surviving children: Ramona (Nelson) Garcia of Chicago, IL, Nilsa (Joe) Santos of Texas, Luis Berrocal, Carmen (Raymond) Vasquez, Miguel (Edna) Berrocal, Rosa (late Ismael) Velez, Luz (late Louis) Ortiz, Edgar (Marla) Rodriguez, Georgine (Guillermo) Hernandez, Candida (Miguel) Rios, Olga (Freddie) Perez, Santo Rodriguez and Prudencio (Sylvia) Rodriquez all of Indiana; three step-daughters, Sebera, Juana and Maria; grandmother of 43; great-grandmother of 48; one great-great-grandchild; 26 step-grandchildren; five sisters in Puerto Rico; one brother and one sister both in New York. Preceded in death by her husbands, Teofilo Berrocal and Prudencio Rodriguez; three great-grandchildren, Moses Luna, Nina Ortiz and Laila Ortiz. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2007 at Bocken Funeral Home with prayers at 9:30 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 7132 Arizona Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Rev. Charles Mosley, celebrant. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from 3 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seasons Hospice, 2701 W. 68th Street, Chicago, IL, 60629.
