Dolores Pogor Obituary
Dolores Mary Pogor, 73, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2022. Beloved daughter of the late Louis and Dolores Pogorzelski nee Kuncius. Dear granddaughter of the late Paul and Catherine Pogorzelski, and the late Frank and Domicelle Kuncius. Dearest niece of the late Casimir, Stanley (Frances), Catherine, Angeline (Matt) Stram, Jen (James) Schramm, Sophie (Joseph) Fabisiak, Josephine (Joseph) Krolczyk, Helen (Richard) Guminski, Paul (Geraldine), Pearl (Donald) Kaczmarek, Anthony, Bernice (James) Karsky, Frank Jr., Valeria (Donald) Sexton, and Daniel. Cherished cousin and friend to all. Dolores was a long-time member for St. Thomas More Catholic Church, and will be greatly missed by the congregation. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 2825 W. 81 st St., Chicago, IL, 60652. Interment to be held at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, masses may be requested in Dolores's name.

I taught with Dolores, and we remained friends after she retired. Dolores had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs, and children. She was patient and kind to her students, and enjoyed coming to my house to see my dogs. She would tell us stories of her growing up and all the pets she had. She always told my daughter she loved her. Dolores is with our Lord, where she always prepared to be. God bless you Dolores.

Dolores was really nice everytime I would altar serve she would be like Peter nice job every time. She always said hello to me every Sunday at church.
She thinks I would be a good priest. Dolores was so nice. Dolores will be missed.
