My Aunt Dolores was a person who faced great adversity with the death at a young age of her husband and a few years lagter, her daughter. Now having become a father myself, she was an inspiration to me in how she was able to move forward with her life. My Aunt took me on several trips when I was a kid. I saw most of the Continental United States because of her and her generosity. They are some of the most treasured memories of my life and I will always be grateful to her for that. My mother not only lost her last surviving sibling, out of a family of eleven, but a trusted friend and confidant. The only comfort that I have in her death is that she is now at peace with her beloved husband and duaghter and is not hurting anymore. God bless you Aunt DeeDee and your memory.
