Dick Mierkiewicz Obituary

Mierkiewicz, Dick age 65, of Arlington Heights, beloved husband of the late Marcia (nee Carlson), loving father of Michelle (Jeff) Rudolph, Kim, Kevin and the late Colleen Mierkiewicz, cherished grandfather of Allyson and Julia Rudolph , devoted son of Josephine and the late Stanley Mierkiewicz, dear brother of Patty Mierkiewicz, Thomas (Mary) Mierkiewicz, Diane (Bill) Carlson, Joseph Mierkiewicz and the late Maria Mierkiewicz, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dick was a kind man that showed compassion and undying devotion to his family. Although he went through many struggles in his life he always was able to smile in the worst situations. He will be greatly missed by all those that knew him and forever live in our hearts. Visitation Tuesday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie. Interment private. My brother Dickie was my big brother who I was always proud of. He always looked out for us younger ones. He could laugh with us and cry with us. He was a vivacious, kind, compassionate, caring and a loving brother and son who had a great sense of humor. I will miss you Dickie and you will always live in my heart. You are free at last.
