Diane Kessler Obituary

My heartfelt condolences to Mr Kessler, Todd , Michelle, and your families. To know her was to love her! She was such a beautiful role model for me and for everyone she touched. May her memory be a blessing !

I am so sorry to hear of Diane's passing. I owe Diane a HUGE THANK YOU as she was a great influence in my love for community activism. We also had a ton of fun doing the NCJW auction back in the late 1980's. An amazing lady.

My condolence to the Kessler family. I was fortunate that I knew and worked with Diane through NCJW nationally. She was a inspiration to all she touched.

Diane was a strong leader and genuine in her efforts for SSFS where I worked and met her. And as a member of the League of Women Voters she was constant supporter who was always involved in the work. I will miss her sharp mind and bright smile. Peace is my prayer for your beloved family.

Dear Kessler Family,

I met Diane through the H.I.P.P.Y program, and traveled with her to Washington DC. I learned so much from her, I admired her direct, but thoughtful approach. When I think of her it puts a smile on my face. There are few people who leave a mark in your life, and she left a mark in my life. Her dedication and advocacy for the program was inspirational and a true Blessing- Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all!

My deepest of LOVE to you all in this time. I so appreciated the friendship I had with this special lady Diane and for the richness she brought to me .I was always inspired by her nature of deep compassion and giving. It was a joy to be adopted into her circle of close girlfriends and to feel such a part of her life. I feel half Jewish because of her open heart . were my next door neighbors in Flossmoor for many years. I have very fond memories of Diane's kindness and friendship and enthusiasm for any task she undertook. She will be missed by so many people.

OMG! My sister-in-law,Mindy, works for JUF, called and told me about this today. I'm so sorry! At the beginning of August, Diane emailed that she had broken her hip in July and that after her rehab she was having issues with fluid in her lungs. Every day I thought about reaching out to her to see how she was doing.This is so typical of what can happen with "procrastination"! Once again, our sincere sympathies to Buddy, Todd, Michelle and the entire family and to all of her dear friends. She will be missed!

Our condolences to Diane's family and to Buddy. Although we have seldom seen the loving couple over the years we were always glad when we did. Diane was so helpful when my cousin Barbara passed away too long ago. We will never forget her love and help.

My condolences to Todd and Michelle on the loss of their mother. Diane was one of my all time favorites when I was the principal of Western and the kids were in school. I admired Diane for all of her energy and positive attitude on life. She helped me in so many ways.

Diane was a wonderful woman. I knew and worked with her for many years through NCJW both on the National Board in NY and locally in Boca Raton. My heartfelt condolences to Michelle and the entire Kessler family. She will truly be missed.

Diane was a mentor to many in our community but especially to me. She set a very high standard to how to give of yourself for the betterment of others. Her dedication to NCJW, SSFS, and HIPPY are just an example of how many lives Diane touched.
Her passing leaves a great hole in our (mine) hearts and in our community. I will forever be grateful for her friendship, her advice, and her kind heart.
