Dennis Swirtz Obituary
Dennis R. Swirtz
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his two wives, Cleo and Gloria.
Dennis was born and spent his early years in Kittatas Co., WA. He enlisted in the Army during WW II, where he met and married his first wife, Cleo. After the war they settled in Marysville to raise their children and Dennis worked as a pressman at Puget Press.
After Cleo's death, Dennis married Gloria Conrad. They spent 47 years together enjoying gardening, dancing at the Elks and Eagles, Sunday afternoons on "Fraulein" as members of the Everett Yacht Club, traveling to Mexico and Hawaii and taking cruises in the Carribean.
He is survived by brothers, Bob, Bill and Rich Lathrop; children, Denny (Patricia) Swirtz, Ron (Nancy) Swirtz, Melody (Lyle) Short, Dennis Conrad; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will have a private celebration of life and burial as Dennis requested.
