Dennis Sexton Obituary
Dennis E. Sexton, 75, Dear former Husband of Elizabeth, nee Knightly; Devoted father of Dennis (fiancé, Nina Spitznogle), Sarah (Michael) O'Brien, and Robert (Ashley) Sexton; Proud grandfather of Ella, Samuel, Margaret, Robert, Lana and the late Rosie; Dear son of the late Mary and Edmund Sexton; Loving brother of Michael (the late Noreen) and Mariellyn (Robert) Fagan; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Dennis was a proud graduate of Leo High School on Chicago's south side and maintained friendships with other Leo men throughout his life. He was an avid Notre Dame fan & enjoyed games with his family's season tickets for many years. He'll be missed but not forgotten by his grandchildren whom he enjoyed watching over whenever he could. Throughout his proud career with the Carpenters Union, Dennis fought for the rights of working men and women. Visitation Wednesday, October 19, 2022, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Thursday, October 20, 2022, 9:00 AM from Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge, IL 60415 to St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 106th & Kedvale Ave., Oak Lawn. Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. 58 year Member Carpenters Union Local 13, Former Assistant to the President/EST & Lobbyist for the Mid-America Regional Council of Carpenters, Member Fr.
