Thoughts of Dina and Marty, and family ((Linda, Eileen, Jeffrey)) surround my heart, with loving memories that seem as if it was yesterday. The Cohen family get togethers, events and the family business (Bonnie Flower Shop) will always hold a special place in my heart. Til we meet again. Love you

I was looking for contact information for Dena Mae because my mother Frances Pinsker just moved to Chicago, and I was saddened to hear of her passing. My parents Allan and Frances Pinsker of Pittsburgh PA stayed with her for 2 months in 1993 when my father played Gregory Solomon in Arthur Miller's The Price at the
National Jewish Theater in Skokie, for which he won the Jeff award for best supporting actor, at the age of 75 for the first thing he did outside of Pittsburgh. We found her via the Center for Concern's homesharing program. Dena Mae came to the play and cheered on both my parents. She made my father's work in the Price possible, and that was one of the high points of his life, so I will always be grateful. I know my patents stayed in touch with her for awhile, I'm sorry I lost touch. I will always remember her indefatigable energy as a 70 something woman who was busy with her grandchildren and her sisterhood, and was hardly ever home and gave my parents the run of her beautiful house. I also will always be grateful to her for saving my sanity, since before I found her both my parents were staying with me in my then 3 room apartment. My father passed on at the age of 94 1/2 in Pittsburgh in March 2013, and my mother is now in assisted living not far from me here in Chicago. If any family members are willing to share memories of Deena Mae, please contact me at [email protected].

Dear Cohen Family,
Michael and I send our love and deepest condolences to all of you on the loss of your very special Dena Mae. She was one of the first people I met when I came to TBI many years ago. Marty was president then and they both continued to be a special friend through all my years there. She was always smiling and loving and ready to do whatever was needed. She raised a wonderful family, many of you whom I was fortunate to meet. May you always remember her warmth and love and may her memory be a blessing.
