Delruis Bucher Obituary

Delruis Ellsworth "Delmas" Bucher, 79, of Strasburg, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Pastor Roy Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery.

Mr. Bucher was born January 18, 1936 in Shenandoah County, a son of the late Lester Nelson and Bertha Ellen Sine Bucher.

He was a retired truck driver for Delvin Lumber Company.

Surviving are his son, David Allan Wilson of Strasburg; his daughter, Joyce Irene Davis of Wardensville, WV; his brother, Clyde Bucher of Oranda; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his companion, Geraldine F. Cline.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Bucher.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Wilson, Mark Bucher, Jr., Alfred Bucher, Pembrook Bucher, Lester Bucher and Bob Martin.

Friends may call at Stover Funeral Home, 177 N. Holliday St., Strasburg on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1 p.m. until service time.
