Dear Feiger and Hochman Famiies,
Another retired Wilmette teacher today alerted me via e-mail of Debbie's death. I am so very sorry. I remember her most of all, of course, as Josh's mom. I also remember that she had been experiencing health issues prior to Josh being in my 4th grade class. I was happy to learn that she had been well enough to go on with her teaching as well as her education in the years that followed. My deepest sympathy to you all. 50 is WAY TOO YOUNG!
I moved to a retirement community in PA a year ago so yes it is the Miss Ringley who was delighted to have had Hochman's and one Feiger in my class. Josh, my very best to you in the years ahead.

Dear Feiger and Hochman families - I am so terribly sorry for your devastating loss. The untimely death of Debbie is incomprehensible. Everyone that ever met Debbie was touched by her and the incredible person she was. Debbie was a true gem, in every sense of the word. Her warmth, engaging smile, infectious laugh, ability to connect and relate to others, her compassion and passion and zest for life were surpassed by none. I know I was blessed to have known Debbie. She made an enormous difference in this world and she will never be forgotten. Josh, Daniel, Jillian and Devyn - your beautiful mom will live on through you forever. Jordan and family, It was NTW high school that I knew Debbie and than had the good fortune of working with her at CCH, our first job out of college. We had a lot of laughs and even as I write this, I hope I am gramatically correct. Debbie had an incredible command of the english language. My heart breaks to hear this news. Please know there are many with prayers reaching out to you.

Dear Feiger and Hochman Families,
We are so saddened by the sudden passing of Debbie. She was a colleague and friend that we felt honored and inspired to know. Her unique combination of intelligence, strength, joy and humanity endeared her to all of us. Her excitement and passion for life and learning were an asset she shared with all her knew her.
The Jewish Day Schools of Chicagoland and Arie Crown specifically have lost a leader and visionary.
May the blessing that she was to all of us continue as she looks down from above and has Nachas from all that she planted in this world during her time here. She will always be in our hearts.

Debbie was truly a woman of valor. To the faculty of Arie Crown, Debbie represented the dedication, love, and concern that emanates through the halls and rooms at our school. I am honored to have been a member of Debbie's faculty over the past three years. She will surely be missed by all of us, as well as the students and parents who have had the privilege to know Debbie as we did.
Rest in Peace our dear Debbie. Iris Horowitz

We used to live kitty-cornered across the street on Koerper Ct. I always admired the way Debbie kept track of 4 kids, making sure they all got what they needed. We used to try to count how many times she drove in and out of our street on any given day :0) . I'm sure the children have grown into wonderful people, and I'm also sure they will miss her tremendously. We moved away almost 6 years ago, but hearing of her passing brings back vivid thoughts of our life there. Condolences from our whole family.

It is with a grieving heart I express sincere and reflective condolences to the entire Feiger and Hochman families. It is so profound, surreal, that all will gather to remember Debbie on her birthday, sharing memories and stories, surrounding her with love wishing to celebrate her caring and sharing. So many fond memories of Super Bowl parties with enough food for an army, all prepared by Debbie during all hours of the day and night. 4th of July gatherings, being at her family's incredible Passover dinner table, and more recently being honored by Debbie who invited us to her home for Shabbat dinner prior to my marriage to my loving husband Sam.
