Beloved wife of Gerald (Jerry) McIlvain; mother of Elizabeth (Beth) Czechanski and Kathryn (Kate) McIlvain. Long time elected official in the city she loved, Country Club Hills; huge supporter of the Marian Catholic High School Marching Band and Colorguard; loved opera, dance, music, cooking and hiking. Debbie was always one of the best of us. I intended to join you for the wake and funeral, but now I can't because of a recent exposure to covid that I would not want to spread to others. I'll join you all in prayer. Jerry, if you feel an arm around your shoulder, that's me. And many others.
