Dean was one of my oldest and dearest friends. The lessons that I learned from him and the experiences we shared were priceless. I know that whatever and wherever heaven is Dean is there in the loving embrace of our creator.I loved him like a brother and will miss him always.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Annie and the Richardson family in this their time of sorrow. Dean was truly special - a very private man who loved Annie, his family and especially his neices and was truly loved in return. He loved being in the outdoors, nature, hiking, birdwatching, photography, juggling and so much more. He had a gentle soul and kind and loving heart. He found joy in everyday simple things and loved what he did. He is now at peace, pain free and in Heaven - probably talking to God and thanking him for the beauty of nature and maybe even juggling as he loved to do. I worked beside him for many years and we had a lot of discussions about many different subjects - He loved to hear about Scotland - my homeland - He also travelled to Hawaii with us on vacation years ago and we have wonderful memories of that time. He was a very dear man and we shall miss him. We were blessed to know you Dean. Rest in Peace our dear friend. You will never be forgotten and will be missed by many. Love to you always.

Ms. Colangelo and Richardson family members,
My sincerest condolences to you for your loss. Dean was, and is, one of the kindest and gentlest souls I've ever known. I'd always felt that I'd been in the presence of goodness after spending only a few moments with him over the briefest of times; I cannot imagine your loss.
You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

My friend Tim and I have known Dean since we were 16. We were hitchhiking and he picked us up! Somehow, we stayed in touch over the years and shared many experiences. He was a great friend and will be sorely missed.
