David was so much to me. He was my Godfather and cousin, but he was more like a brother and definitely a friend. As a child I adored him, he was so strong and handsome and I would run to him and he would put me on his shoulders. When my son was in the hospital, he came to sit by my side, he wanted me to be strong and I remember him praying with me. Later he became my son's confirmation sponsor. I cherish all the times we shared playing cards and the family pool parties on the 4th of July. Less than a week ago he held my hand and challenged me to a arm wrestle. He was strong right till the end. He loved his "ROSE". He looked at her so lovingly. I will always remember how much David loved me and I know he knows I loved him. I will miss you David and you will always be in my heart.

Great cousin, nearly like a brother. Very loyal and faithful to the family as we all passed through the milestones of life. Distinguished himself as a go-getter and hard worker at a young age. I see him as a survivor. Viet Nam Vet, survived an accident while in the service, which required enormous discipline and rehab to overcome, then later in life survived three (3!) brain surgeries. Provided anchoring and continuity for members of our family. He surely will be missed.
