David A. Spale, age 45, lifetime resident of North Riverside. Beloved son and true angel of Frank and Carol (nee Hunka) Spale. Loving brother of Allan (Mei) Spale and Kathleen Spale. Fond uncle of Phyllis "Phoebe" Spale. Dear nephew of Chuck (Chris) Hunka, Larry (Liz) Hunka, the late Bob (Claudia) Hunka and the late Ken (the late Valerie) Spale and the late Rose Marie (the late Frank) Skisak. Cherished cousin of Larry (Linda), Chris and the late Ken Skisak, Barbara (Gary) Jacklin, Keith (Nilla) Spale, Ellen, Lauren, Melissa (Elliot) and Jeremy (Nicole) Hunka. David will be remembered for his smile and laugh when playing games with family and friends and watching his favorite programs. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home 10501 W. Cermak Rd. Westchester on Thursday February 6, 2025 from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. Funeral Friday 10:15a.m. from the funeral home to Mater Christi Church in North Riverside for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. I remember David from his short time at RBHS. He spent some time at school and also received some teaching at his home.
His devoted mother did everything she could to enrich David’s life.

Dear Carol, my sincere condolences for David's passing away. I must say, that he lived a long life with the condition that he had in which most people probably won't. This is a great testimony to all of you, his family first of all, a testimony to your great love for him. And also to the community around you who helped. Love gave David his long life. You have such a beautiful family and I know that David from heaven will be showering you with his love through his prayers for you with eternal gratitude.

Carol & family,
God has taken your angel, David, to be with him. He will no longer have any health issues. He put up a good fight his entire life and now he will be with his grandparents, aunts, uncles and the rest of the Hunka, Spale, Verzals.
