Dave will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Just one of the "good guys" even though he wore a black hat. I enjoyed being an "outlaw" in the family right beside him. Please take care during this very difficult time.

The block won't be the same without Dave. He is a wonderful guy. I always praised him for how well he taught his children manners!! My thoughts and prayers go out to Fran and Dave's entire family.

Fran, if there's anything at all that I can do, please don't hesitate to ask. We will be there to help you, DJ and everyone else where possible.

Your smile will be missed, Dave! May you rest in peace.

To DJ, his youngest son and all of his now adult children. Your father was more than a special friend to me, he was my best friend. We have traveled many happy, sometimes sad, sometimes very difficult paths together in our personal and business lives since we first met 28 years ago at the Sloan Valve Company Foundry Division. Dave was always there for me as I was always there for him, only caring about the others welfare first and not our own. This was not unique to just me, Dave felt that way about all of his friends and co-workers, always first to aid and assist any way he could. Dave was the absolute stand up guy, honest and loyal. We will deeply miss him, too.

God of mercy,
as we mourn the death of Dave
and thank you for his life,
we also remember times when it was hard for us to understand,
to forgive, and to be forgiven.
Heal our memories of hurt and failure,
and bring us to forgiveness and life
in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Cousin Dave was a father figure to me. I learned many things from him, and he helped my family and I quite often during a difficult time in our lives. At that time, I thought he was the cooler than Fonzie. I deeply mourn his loss and I feel a profound sadness that Diane never really got to know him as I knew him. It gives me solace that his spirit lives on in his children and grandchildren. In them, I see the man my brother Eric and I called Super Dave
May he rest in peace.
