You never really know how or why a person might affect you later in life. My friend Chris live three doors away from Dave when he lived in Chicago. I remember it as vivid as yesterday, Dave with his Violen in Chris's garage playing some good old fashing Rock Roll. I remember he play Kashmir on it one day. This was probably back in 1982, and to this day when I hear Kashmir play on the Radio, I think of Dave. It was such a pure and wonderful memory.... Thanks for the Memory Dave.

Sad, so sad. Living down the street from Dave on Overhill, myself and Chris Stefanczyk (who lived 4 houses away from Dave) always have fondly remembered the music coming from the Niwa home. Dave AMAZED us with his playing back then, I will forever remember Dave talking with us and we would shout out current songs on the radio to hear Dave's violin rendition. No need for and angels playing harps in Heaven. Dave's there. Thanks for the life lastings memory.
